The PCAC would like to thank the MTA and its employees for their efforts to restore rail, bus and subway service in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy. In light of such devastation, it is remarkable that even partial service was so quickly brought back. Deep gratitude also goes out to the police, fire and all emergency personnel who served throughout the storm and continue to be present during the clean-up process.
