LIRRCC Responds to Penn Station Service Disruptions

Last night service at Penn Station was absymal once again because of signal problems in an East River tunnel. And once again the LIRR’s communication skills did not hold muster.

“Riders cannot endure another week like the current one and the LIRR, working with Amtrak, must make extraordinary efforts to ensure that riders are able to travel effectively on the Rail Road. Anything less is not enough.” said LIRRCC chair Mark Epstein.
