We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Daglian as PCAC’s new Executive Director. Lisa has more than twenty-five years of experience in government, nearly half of which has been in the transportation arena. She succeeds William (Bill) Henderson to become only the third Executive Director since our inception in 1981. We thank Bill for his twelve years of dedicated service to the region’s transit riders, and wish him much luck in his retirement.
Through PCAC, Lisa is committed to giving MTA riders a strong voice in critical areas such as funding and the budget; capacity; service and reliability; and how changing demographics and commute patterns will affect the region’s growth and economy. She is an avid multi-modal user of the network in each of PCAC’s three Council regions, and has an under, on-the-ground, (and elevated) understanding of the issues and concerns facing riders, because she is one.
